Hey all! Had a good weekend?
I had to have a good weekend because…I JUST STARTED SCHOOL! Yesterday to be exact. :’(
Anyway, back in school, I was craving for something new other than the same old food I used to eat almost everyday (but I still love it; will introduce to you guys one day!). I decided that today, I am going to burn a tiny hole in my pocket just to help all you readers try the BLACK PEPPER STEAK in NP’s Hungry Jack stall!
I can tell you, the price is super affordable as compared to the steaks you eat outside. The price is only $6.20!
CHEAP RIGHT! But as much as you will drool.. sorry! I can only show you one picture! Cause I’m super hungry :p
looks yummy, don’t you think so! the steak was medium rare. I personally don’t usually take medium rare as I don’t like blood that much, but the steak was surprisingly juicy! AND the most important factor was that the steak does not really have the bloody taste!
I love the cauliflower, which was the accompanying side dish. It’s just water boiled, but the black pepper sauce went really well with it! I guess this is why simplicity goes well with seasoning!
However, the coleslaw was on the hotplate as well, and thus was warm. *eeks* bad idea. but overall, my rating is as follows:
Sight (decorated nicely or not): 5/10
Taste (yummy or not): 8/10
Price (worth it or not): 9/10
Beef steak has always been my all time favorite dish and i am always looking for some new recipes that has steak as the main ingredient.-;-
