A New Food Alert!

Well well. The other day, I was with my friends and one of them suggested that we go to this casual restaurant at Tiong Bahru Plaza. The name of the restaurant is Eighteen Chefs. I was quite intrigued by the name already haha!
So anyway, we made our way down there after classes.
And guess what?! The restaurant has an interesting history behind it…
The people working there, are troubled youths and people with conviction background!
But not to worry, no one will posion you! :x

okay! lets get started!
First item: Bolognaise Cheese Fries (Chef Recommendation!) $4.90

This is like the replica of Carl’s Junior’s Beef Chilli Cheese Fries except it’s got bolognaise! The fries were crispy on the ouside and soft on the inside but I personally prefer Carl’s Junior’s BCCF… (cos I love to eat my fries with salsa! haha!)
This dish is worth a try if you ever stop by the restaurant!

Second Item: Cheesy Pasta with Mushrooms, Scrambled Eggs & Sausages with Black Pepper Sauce $6.40

That’s a superrrr long name.. but anyway, for the toppings, only one is inclusive, as in you choose one from the above, with another choice of baked beans, in the student meal. hehe..the privileges of being a student! Anyway, do not belittle the picture! The cheese is AWESOME I swear, and the black pepper sauce which seems weird (with pasta, can you imagine?) is actually delicious!
The scramble eggs were weird though, in pasta, but the reason why I got it was because there’s a 1-for-1 topping promotion… XD

Dessert: Brownie $3.50

BROWNIES!! Who doesn’t love chocolate?! This dessert took quite some time to be served but I can reassure you - It’s worth the wait! Can you see in the corner there’s that ‘18′? AH HA! Guess where did that come from :) The brownie was served warm with chocolate sauce drizzled on top of it. My friends and I had ice cream which was part of the student meal and we were practically begging our ice cream not to melt… HAHA! The brownie was rich with flavour and it literally melted in my mouth… choco heaven~

Anyway, my verdict is that if you want to try something new, definitely head towads this casual restaurant.
Affordable high class dining!
