9. Out of My List (Part II)

That day I was at Lot 1 Shopping Mall and need a fast dinner.

And as usual, mostly all e restaurant @ there are packed with people otherwise long queue. I don’t really like to wait.

So, this is the only “kiosk” with the less people.

Upon seated, u will realize something.

THE CHAIR IS SMALL
NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL

Secondly,

The menu is totally lousy.

There’s not much choices to choose from.

I can hardly confirm my order.
So I just ordered the Lotus Glutinous Rice, at least can fill my hungry stomach.

Okay, so for a Lotus Glutinous Rice, u would expect lotus leaves wrapped nicely and smells great.

Stuffed with chicken meat and dried mushroom.

Sound greats right??

But expect the unexpected.

YES. THIS IS MY LOTUS GLUTINOUS RICE.

In which part of it could you see the lotus leaves??

All I can I see is that this is NOT lotus glutinous rice.

But LOR MAI GAI.

I mean if it’s Lor Mai Gai, the restaurant should change the name on the menu.

And don’t confuse the customer.

You see, this is not my 1st time to patron Prosperous Kitchen.
And not my first time ordering the lotus glutinous rice.
I ordered before at the Sembawang Outlet, and I can confirm with you, this is not what they served.

And how’s the taste.
One word. Awful.

Apart from some parts of the rice is harden. It doesn’t have this fragrant smell.
The chicken meat taste awful.
Totally not up to standard.

I didn’t even finish the meat. Just stuffing myself with the glutinous rice with chilli sauce, which can add more ‘favour’ to it.

This is one poor LOR MAI GAI or should I say Lotus Glutinous Rice I have ever eaten.

And this. Out of my list.
