As continue from last post Mother’s Day.
This time, my family went to Orchard Hotel, Orchard Café for dinner BUFFET.
Yes Yes, we all LOVE BUFFET
=)
The reason why we choose this hotel for dinner buffet is becos
my mum says she never try this café before, so, we bought her here.

Okay, just a snap shot of the layout of the café, in fact, when I step in.
The first thing came to mind was like “huh, so small ar…” LOL
But actually, I was wrong, they actually serve quite a lot of foods lor…..

Another snap shot from my seat, good seating area cos near to the FOODs… hahaha
And I actually made a reservation 2 week earlier before Mother’s Day
And I was so surprise, becos there isn’t much people.
Was so happy, that means I can eat slowly and enjoy my foods
=D

Okay, my mum loved the foods, thus, asked to take a shot..
Ayioo so embrassing LOL…
(but nvm, she’s the star for that night =D )
Behind her was all the cold dishes, such as
Mussels, CRABS, Prawns, Sushi, etc..
Feedback: The seafood was FANTASTIC.
Very fresh and also taste GOOD
Oh, just to let u all know, they serve ABALONE!!!
YES, and it’s not those kind of small diced.
It has been sliced for you and placed round a large plate.

They even have this porridge area, where there’s 2 types of porridge to choose from.
Abalone Porridge or Sweet Potato Porridge
Plus
Various side dishes to go with (*as seen above)
(Mei Cai, Braised chicken leg, Cai Po Egg,
Olive vegetable and Fried Wanton Cracker)
Just to name a few…
And the preserve vegetable (mei cai) is good. Must try!

Fried Rice, Chay Kueh Teow and Satay
(*oppss forget to take the sauce, hehe)
The fried rice taste is abit of dry, but the
chay kueh teow is good and not too oily

Lots of other dishes to choose from such as
Laska, Yong Tao Foo, Fish & Chips, Indian Curry,
Hainanese Mixed Vegetable, Curry Prawns, Satay
All from this area (*as seen pictures above)
I was so busy eating and chatting that I forget to take most of the pictures of the foods I eaten.
And here comes the part which I LOVED.
DESSERT!!

Okay, so how come there’s a Pocky?
Becos, they include Pocky as part of their dessert, so special right?
From clockwise:
(Pocky and the breaded pudding, Corn Cake, Carrot cake and Vanilla Cake)

From clockwise:
(Jelly with fruits, Mango Mousse cake, Strawberry mousse cake and Mango Cake)
U must try the Mango Cake, soft with mango in it and best of all NOT TOO SWEET!
I think I took quite a few pieces of the mango cake
AND
THE
KING
OF
FRUITS

DURIAN!!!
This is my favourite! No matter how bloated or full am I
My stomach will always have a space for this!
(*dripping)
Orchard Café is so sweet that they actually just provide just the paste of the durian for
you, so no worries of getting your hand dirty or smelly.
I can guarantee you that this durian paste is FRESH!
Totally MUST TRY! You will loved it.
(Even my mum loved it too)

After a good dinner, remember to take some fruits to digest
=D
The food quality at Orchard Café is excellent, food replenish fast.
Chef is always around the buffet area.
Clean floor
Great dessert varieties
Not stingy about food type (Abalone, Sea bass, Crabs, etc)
The only upset thing is that, they seem to be lacked of service staff.
Although dirty plates are taken away fast, but water replenish are SLOW
We have to wait for like 15 mins and to get our water replenished
Other then that. I sincerely recommend this Café to you all
